The Travis tournament turned out to be a slug fest with pretty much every boat weighing in a limit. The winds picked up and made it challenging but the fishing was 🔥and the Big Bass pot was won!
🥇1st - Adam & Joana Clark - 18.80lbs with a 5.05lb Big Bass
🥈2nd - Terry Kyle & Kirk McGlamery - 15.85lbs
🥉3rd - Hank Fleming & Henry (Doc) Meyer - 14.56lbs

March Tournament & C.A.S.T. for Kids

Just a reminder, March's Tournament is on Lake Travis out of Mansfield Dam from 7am - 3pm on 3/22. Also, the big bass pot rolled over and will be approx. $180!
This year's C.A.S.T. for Kids event will be on Lake Bastrop on May 2, 2026 - and they need boat Captains. Being a boat Captain is really a rewarding experience and this is such a great cause. They already have a waitlist for participants, they just need more boats. Please help out if you can. You can visit the C.A.S.T. for Kids website here: https://castforkids.org/event/lakebastrop/

Seems like that stiff north wind the day before shut-em down & made her fish stingy. Congrats to those who finished in the money and a big thank you to all who participated. You can see all of the results & tournament statistics on the Completed tournaments tab for Lake Buchanan. As you can see, with the new team format, even someone fishing alone still has a good shot at winning ... and I don't have to split my money with anyone! The poll for March is UP and ACTIVE ... go vote. Tight lines!
